Multiracial 101: Join the Movement

As higher education evolves, understanding the college population is more critical than ever before. Multiracial college students are attending universities at a higher rate, as the population of mixed race people grows. As Student Affairs professionals, to understand this population is to engage them, thus we will explore: a brief history; identity struggles; campus spaces; recognition on applications and campus forms; and improving service.
