New generations of students are entering higher education, more diverse and talented than ever before. Latin@s are increasingly attending higher education institutions and have unique needs that require the development of unique service strategies.
This program will explore the characteristics of latin@ students, how current practices may not be serving these students, and identify strategies for higher education institutions to conceptualize on the talents of Latin@ students arriving on campus. History regarding community college pipeline and leadership development will be focused upon.
