The force is strong in this one”. Do you have leaders with all the potential, yet no internal motivation to contribute to the organization? Are they motivated by friendship or by a sense of citizenship to the larger campus residential community? As advisers, we often lay grand blueprints to guide the development of our Resident Student Association leaders and the organization as a whole. What happens when the leaders are taken to the “dark side”? This session will explore the areas of advising no one wants to talk about, but yet are faced with on a daily basis. The presenters will discuss strategies on how approach these situations and the development of an action plan.
