UC Regents Respond to Racial Tensions

In this article published in the SFGate, the UC Regents apologize for the recent racially motivated events which occurred on several UC campuses.

According to the article, UC President Mark Yudof, said the incidents were “quite simply the worst acts of racism and intolerance I’ve seen on college campuses in 20 years. We must – and will – deal with the causes of the offending behaviors.”

The Regents, in San Francisco for their monthly meeting, outlined future goals and ways to support the minority population within the UC system.
