Working with students we hear some amazing stories. We all remember those moments when students have breakthrough or life changing experience, and those moments keep us going.
I recently stumbled across a video featuring students from San Antonio College that discuss their life before stepping on campus and how it has changed them. It is a simple yet powerful video about how higher education change lives.

Reminds me why I do what I do! Thanks for finding this and sharing!
Jeff this is such a great video! The biggest shame is that on YouTube, it's only been viewed by 56 times.
Great post sir, I will share with colleagues!
Awesome video!
Thanks for sharing. I let my colleagues know about it.
Don't worry…this is going to spread like wildfire. I had tears in my eyes while watching it. I love this video.
I just checked and it has 321 views
Social media is at its best when it is about changed lives, the power of education and grassroots reality – so my congratulations to the San Antonio students for making this brilliant video. The best compliment I can give this video is that I had tears rolling down my face within less than a minute recognizing what they had produced. Those kids blew me away with their honesty, their personal truth and their purpose. Well done. Very well done.

hope in a video, maybe I can be in the next one.
I am so amazed at what SAC does, wish SPC, PAC, NWV, and NEL could join in on the experience. SPC SGA is up and running, but still so new, thanks for the ideas SAC! All colleges should have a SGA and a fully functional one with support of the entire college. Good Job SAC!
As Tom pointed out, there was only 56 views when I first posted this and now there are 1,150!!!
There has been 29 Tweets, 34 facebook tweets, and who knows how many emails.
I think we should do a collaborative project together. Maybe people can film students from their campus, and we can edit the clips together. Or you can do the entire film, and we can upload all of them into one place. Any thoughts?
Let's do it. This is amazing!
